ABOUT THE PRACTICE

The practice is led by RIBA chartered architect Will Slack who has over ten years’ experience in bespoke residential projects. Will is a dynamic and passionate architect who believes that thoughtful design can significantly enhance the quality of life.  His focus is on creating exceptional living spaces that merge innovative design, functionality, and sustainability.

 

With a strong grounding in architectural principles and an acute attention to detail, Will has gained experience at some of the top architectural practices in the UK. His career includes roles at ONE17 Design, an award-winning high-end residential practice in Huddersfield, and jmarchitects, an AJ100 practice in Manchester.

 

His portfolio spans a diverse array of projects, from residential and commercial developments to interior design. Whether designing a unique house or sensitively adding to a historic building, he approaches each project with a fresh perspective, aiming to deliver bespoke design solutions. Notably, his practice recently received the Young People’s Award at the York Design Awards 2023 for the project Foss Bridge House.

 

Collaboration is a cornerstone of his work philosophy. Will enjoys working closely with clients to understand their needs and transform their visions into reality. By involving clients actively throughout the design process, he ensures that the final outcome not only meets but exceeds their expectations.

 

As a ARB registered architect and chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), he upholds the highest standards of professional and ethical practice.
