ABOUT ME

Hi! I am Will Slack, the director of Will Slack Design.

I am a young and dynamic architect driven by the belief that architecture has the power to shape the world we live in and enhance our lives for the better. My passion lies in creating exceptional living spaces that combine innovative design, functionality, and sustainability. 

With a strong foundation in architectural principles and a keen eye for detail, I have worked at some of the best architecture practices in the UK from ONE17 Design, an award winning high-end residential practice in Huddersfield to jmarchitects, an AJ100 practice in Manchester.

My portfolio showcases a diverse range of projects, including residential, commercial, to interior design. Whether its a one-off house or sensitive addition to a historic building, I approach each project with a fresh perspective and seek to create a bespoke design solution. The practice recently won the Young People’s Award in the York Design Awards 2023 for the project Foss Bridge House.

Collaboration is an integral part of my work philosophy. I enjoy working closely with clients, understanding their needs, and translating their vision into reality. By actively involving my clients throughout the design process, I ensure that the final result aligns with their aims while exceeding their expectations.

I am a qualified Architect and my standard of professional conduct and practice is governed by the Architects Registration Board (ARB). As a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) I am committed to the highest professional and ethical standards.
